Festung Ehrenbreitstein: Located on the opposite side of the Rhine, Festung Ehrenbreitstein is one of the best preserved medieval fortresses in Europe. Situated on a hilltop above the Rhine, it offers spectacular views of the Moselle Valley. The fortress is open from 10am-6pm and tickets for adults are 11€ and 5€ for children.
